UltraMonkey

Wouldn't know that ultramonkey is the spirit of growth until I got to my present working place. I've always believe in following the rules, doing it the professional way until I was approached to join the monkey team. And as usual, I was offered banana as a motivation, wey be the things monkeys love. So I jumped and grapped the banana, that was how it all started.

The full story: One day the chief amidst us discovered that we are already monkeying and coilled out the slogan, monkey. This continued until we discover that we have worked very hard as monkeys and our MM discovered that we a getting tired of banana. So, he added some plantains and plantains chips to the stuffs which made it sweeter than it used to be. Before we know what was happening, the monkeys started performing much more than was expected thereby increasing the expectation of the MM.

More dose of plantains and the monkeys suddenly grew to ultramonkey. Now all the ultramonkeys can jump from Iroko tree to the Acacia, just because they submitted themselves for training in the hand of MM.

Wish I add discovered the beauty of being a monkey earlier, maybe by now I will have become a Baboon. And ...
I go don dey chop life now because Na monkey dey work, na baboon dey chop.

So, Keep Monkeying onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

Old Skool

Wouldn’t have appreciated how handsome I look in the native attire until that very faithful tuesday when the only option for me was a native old skool.

I have contracted dry cleaning of my wardrobe to a drycleaner and will not be collecting my cloths until the evening of Tuesday. So I had to arrange something to wear to the office on that day.

In absence of other option, I decided to go traditional. As I was leaving the house that morning, my brother saw me and couldnt help but to laugh at what I was wearing to the office.

I got to the office early that morning and couldnt have imagine what the day turned to be. When people started coming in to the office, somebody just look my direction and seeing what I was wearing checked me out. Before I could comprehend what was happening, I have become the centre of attraction. Everybody want to know my tailor, the consultant I visited and the whole detail.

I must confess to u, I did consider going back into the house to change what I wore to office that day but because there was no other option I summoned courage and behaved as if it is deliberate.

Some little courage here trying out unusual stuffs and ended that day as the "touch".

Unusual, but just try it out and might be your chance to be the focus...

When I lost Courage

After applying for about 80 positions and wasn't consider for any, I got dejected and felled back to fate. A dismal withdraw from challenge, that's what you'll call it? I think not. I have discovered that my resume was not properly organized. And I don't have any inspiration on how to go about it, so I took a break.

Some two months after my withdrawal, I got a call from a recruitment agent and was surprised to be informed that I am being considered for a position. It was so strange that I can't hide my joy. This joy was not to last, though. I soon discovered that I have shortchanged myself in the negotiation and before the negotiation was concluded, I have discovered that my worth is invaluable.

Though failure did stripe me of my courage that was not going to be for long. Discovering the demand on my skills, I discover that I am an undiscovered goldmine, "Time will search me out". I have started rebuilding the ruins of my courage, and I am confident of taking my career to the next level I desired.

May be long, but a focused and determined mind will always get to the desired end. And my story will be another confirmation of that. ‘Cos, I have decided to...

A Passionate Dreamer

What a lovely desire, to be able to travel d world, climbing the peaks, sleeping on the beach, under the towering falls of waterfall or whirlwind power of a storm beach; ho! how much I enjoy luxury. But, it seemed as if it will never happen, cos it is in my dreamssssssss.

So what do I do? Add passion to my dream so that it can generate some actions. I'll generate the enormous power through my passion. My imagination combined with passion will generate inspiration on how to overcome limitation.

This was my thinking until that faithful weekend when I found myself in the luxury of one of the most desirous beach playing with friends like a goose inside water. What a beautiful experience. I wish it can continue indefinitely but, it is not to last as we had to leave the beach at the evening.

I am closer to my dream and knows one day I'll be able to beat the odd and have my personal resort on one of the best beaches in the world. Then, I'll write...
A passionate dreamer living in reality of his dream.
